Te Reo Maori- Maori Language

Article Summary:
Titireia Maori is consistent with the act of enhancing (creating a thing of immense value) Maori knowledge, language and thinking. In the first instance, it is a strategy that addresses the University’s commitment to responding creatively and boldly to the learning needs of Maori. In a larger context however, Titirea Maori is a strategy that addresses fundamental questions related to our identity as modern New Zealanders who seek to be informed of both our past and our present so that ultimately we will be confident about our future.
